Penang & Ipoh Trip Sept 07

since we went down to melaka and jb, we wanted to go up, to penang and ipoh. so up we went. it was a 3days 2 nights thingy. didnt get to see many things or eat alot of food on this trip, but at least we made some people happy. those sakais who never been there. who the sakais? cant say ler. they chop my didi off later. =) so, we got ready, as usual, planned everything from accomodation to how much to prepare to spend to what to eat and what to see. this trip was the cheapest i think. everyone chipped in around rm200 only. inclusive of petrol, tolls, food, entertainment and etc. accommodation was free. a friend had a free stay in some apartment along batu ferringghi. (i think thats how you spell it). main attraction was penang char kueh teow. wtf. drive so far to eat char kueh teow. it took us 5 long hours from kl to penang, because, i drove at cruising speed of 80km/h. drive so fast for what? no appointment with St. Peter also. i wont write too much because someone said my previous post on drunkards is very very very very boring. screw you boy. i was drunk talking ok? ;)

knnccb..traffic jam
we were stuck for almost an hour
all because, some drunk bitumen lorry driver was drunk.
i think.
so, since traffic wasnt moving,
relaxing on the highway.
when again can someone be sitting on the side of the highway?
finally we reached the apartment. 2 units, 4 rooms
girls took 3 rooms. i shared 1 room but not 1 bed.
we could have broke the legs of the bed.

i hate malaysian weather.
everytime i eat good food, i sweat.
gurney drive hawker stalls.
i think. i really forget names of places.
this one confirm gurney drive. the beach was behind us.
so near yet so far. =( didnt go baking in the sun this trip.
they never saw round bulbs and said bubbles looked cute.

went back to apartment after an hour wasted there
ipoh mali birthday girl
no comments
all them girls
went to sleep after that. exhausted like fcuk.
next morning breakfast.

no pics. we were too hungry, we finished everything
before we could remember to take a picture.

drove back to apartment, went to sleep after shower.
next morning breakfast. packed our bags, heading to ipoh
you know you're near ipoh when you see mountains and quarrys.
was so boring in ipoh,
we went to some sacred mountain. nice mountain with nice view.
a place where the old and young folks go for exercise
inside the mountain, or cave?

went back to ipoh mali birthday girl's place for shower then,
IPOH CHICKEN RICE!!
meatball soup came first with rice
couldnt wait anymore but snatch the chicken and taugeh.
went back to sleep
next morning breakfast

that's all for the penang & ipoh trip. i really have ran out of holidays.
sorry for the less frequent updates. i guess i should get my camera working and go snip and snap everything i do. :s that doesnt seem to be me. je suis ah-lazy!
