France, Je T'aime

finally i have decided to post about the france trip. its a school trip you see? if it wasnt because of the college, i dont think i would have ever stepped to france. it was supposed to be a study trip but ask me, and ill say, its a gimmick for us to spend more money on the college. 20k plus for 1 year of bachelor degree's studies ok? and that didnt include daily expenses, cigarettes, alcohol, etc. 20k for 2 semesters in '1 year'. minus holidays, term break, etc, 7 months plus. oh, france trip was included in tuition fees. they had their way of making it seem like studies were sooo expensive. but that's the price to pay for a well known french bachelor's degree i suppose. french, ok? not some malaysian degree only well known in malaysia. university of toulouse aight? never heard of it? well, you only know swinburne, lim kok wing, segi college, kdu, etc, right? =) my course was in taylor's college school of hospitality and tourism management. 4 years of my life went to studies. good? yeah. at least ive got a degree but not a job. =/

so, france study trip was included in the degree course. was supposed to be 14days but we got cheated and ended up only 11days away from malaysia. itinerary was given months before the date of departure, 7th March 2007. the group was too big, around 140+- hotelier and tourism students. so the group was split up for departure dates. 1st group left on 6th march DIRECT TO PARIS whilst we, the remaining ones, left on 7th march at 10am to heathrow, london than eurostar train under the english channel direct to paris. it sucked because the hours spent traveling was stupid. 1 full day to get from kl-london-paris. but it was a good experience, chance to listen to some british, see the london eye, go through buckingham palace, a little sightseeing before we got to waterloo station. a good friend bought some fried rice from chinatown in london which cost 12POUNDS per dish. thats RM84 plus? for a plate of fried rice. it wasnt the price that counted. it was the thought! thanks so much bitch. i miss you. =(

weather in london was awesome! my balls shrank half its size due to the coldness. it was beginning of winter when we went. freaking colder than the coldest nights in melboure or toowoomba or wellington and it wasnt snowing yet! geez i want to play snow! =( so, eurostar from london to paris was about 8hours i think. best thing to do was sleep. seats were NOT comfortable. we didnt know there was a restaurant and lounge further towards the front. we were placed at the back. right at the back. only thing we saw were, seats, seats, more seats and a toilet. everyone was drooling over the fried rice from chinatown in the train. no, i didnt share. =) fucking kiam siap right?no. was ordered to only share amongs close friends. hi bye friends could only smell. sorry bitches. life sucks to be yours at that moment. to cut the story short, we reached paris even more tired because of the seats that really sucked. slept, next day, tour around paris! ill let you see pictures. its more fun that way. ill not forget to story along the way too. =)
oh, we spent 1 full day in paris, 2days in toulouse and 6days in foix and paris for another day before leaving france. paris is beautiful. worth going back again but, ill take a free and easy trip for at least 4days. imagine walking about 30-40km a day. or maybe more. not fun! boeing's headquaters is in toulouse. just incase you never heard of the place. foix is heaven. the weather there is perfect! there was one night, i swear the temperature was around 2degrees! everyone was sleeping, i had a 'smoke'. =) my balls froze to 1/3 of its size. its a small quiet town with lots of land and hills but no pretty girls. its something like new zealand. grass, hills, sheep. you know?

p.s : ive got almost 2611 pictures worth 1.75GB from 12cameras (i have deleted alot of unrelated pictures) so the pictures are either very mixed up or i didnt post most up. its total madness to post all pictures. blogspot only gives 1gb of memory for pictures! and pictures are very very very very mixed up. will give details of the pictures and there isnt much pictures of the scenery. =)

i think it was 36euros per night for a room.

omg. i could seriously die from uploading all those pictures man. i started on thursday night, and now its sunday night. 4 nights for 1 post??well, i was happily doing this post than i received a phone call at 2.30am and i RUSHED out. wtf. got home at 4.30am, slept. friday, sleep after sending brothers to school. afternoon, did some things. night, caught a movie. the bank job. quite interesting. beginning was dead boring. satuday sleeping day. went to church, went out. this morning, (sunday) woke up at 8am to go picnic. got home at 6pm. its 11.30pm now. what a life.

thats all. i need to restart my comp because i left it on for soooooo long. it could overheat and burn soon.

till i find something else to post about.ive sort of ran out of holidays to post about. =(
